Customised Census 2021 General Community Profiles have been derived using the Department of Health and Aged Care Statistical Area Level 2 concordance file and are available for download via the links below for each of the 31 PHN areas.

An interactive web page that provides a working population profile for each local government in Australia.

Details include place of usual residence, method of travel to work and industry of employment.

School factsheets

These static one-page fact sheets have been automatically generated to give a consistent look and feel.

This type of product would suit clients wanting to generate a regular report on a frequent basis, or for generating a large number of reports.

Choropleth unemployment map

This map shows the unemployment rate by local government area. The map can be zoomed or panned and has a pop-up with more information.

This type of product would suit clients wanting to visualise their data which has a geographical component.

Snapshot visualisation

This visualisation shows the location, population and land area for each local government area. Whilst minimal in interactivity, this visualisation can run without the need of a server.

This type of product would suit clients wanting a simple visualisation that can run within a website.

Business counts visualisation

At the higher end of interactivity, this visualisation allows users to analyse business counts data at a sub-state geography, by industry, or over time.

This type of product would best suit data with multiple variables. It does require a specialised server to run off.
